Let us code you a solution to an unusual Internet problem!

Most of the code we write is written in the C programming language on a UNIX platform. The use of C, a compiled language, rather than PERL, an interpreted language, means applications run much faster and tend to be more portable, as they do not rely on tons of included PERL modules.

We specialize in providing robust, highly secure programs to solve many unusual needs. Security is a designed-in concept, rather than an afterthought, in our code. After all, what good is an application that lets an attacker at your data?

Deployment services may include the design and deployment of one of our server platforms with a time-tested IP packet firewall, in addition to a heavily secured base FreeBSD installation to ensure a very low risk profile in your Internet environment.

Some examples of past projects:

DSRS, a Web based USENET abuse tracking engine, including a Web front end consisting almost entirely of two C CGI programs which handle all user interaction.

JNAMED, a custom load balancing name server package capable of returning different answers based on the source address of the request, the current status of equipment, and other factors. This is great for distributed server environments, where you want connections from different states to go to different sets of servers.

JAUTOPAC, an auto.pac proxy autoconfig file generator, capable of returning different answers based on the source address of the request, the current status of equipment, and other factors. This is great for distributed server environments, where you want connections from different states to go to different sets of servers.

Enhanced Web Traceroute, a comprehensive Web traceroute utility that has a wide variety of useful options in addition to the ones traceroute normally provides.

On the more bizarre end of things: A mini-RIP routing protocol announcer, written in a hurry one evening due to a Novell server bug that refused to allow a default static route to be distributed to segments the Novell server was acting as a router for.

We can also perform security audits of your other systems, build and deploy secure FreeBSD server systems or clusters, design and deploy IP based networks and routers, and advise on the design and implementation of DMZ firewall solutions and related issues. We are experienced in the design and implementation of data centers, too!
